Apartments Ille are located in an old stone house which is protected historic-cultural monument.
The house itself is on the coast of the city core of town Šibenik, 150 meters from Cathedral of St. James. From the windows and balconies there is a view on the Šibenik Bay and the channel of St. Ante.Apartments are 4-bedded and 2-bedded with all the needed comfort. Šibenik is located in the central part of the croatian coast Jadran, in the broad bay lenght of 10 km and amplitude 0,3 – 1,1 km. In the bay of the river Krka and in the direct nearness of Šibenik, approximately 10 km, is also located national park Krka and another national park Kornati which you can visit by boat. As for the traffic connection, Šibenik is connected by highway with the hungarian , slovenian, serbian and bosnia-herzegovina border, there are two airports nearby, approximately 40 km away, the one in Split and Zadar. Šibenik is first mentioned in the year 1066, but he gained the status of the city in the year of 1290 when the Šibenik Bishopric was founded. The most important historic-cultural monument of Šibenik is Cathedral of St.James which was buildt for a hundert years in the 15-th and 16-th century, and we should mention, that there are 24 churches in about 300 m radius. Another interesting fact about town Šibenik is that it is a town with the largest number of stone stairs, about 2400.
From the other historic-cultural monuments we should mention fortress of St. Nikola from the 16-th century, which is the biggest renaissance fortification on the eastern coast of Jadran, located on the entrance of the channel of Sv. Ante which connects Šibenik bay with the open sea, that there are fortresses of Sv.Mihovil, Sv. Ivan and Šubićevac which are, besides historic-cultural monuments, lookouts from which there are beautiful views on the islands of Šibenik archipelago.
